Assistant Buyer, European Retail

Department: Franchise

Location: Madrid, London, Milan

Michael Kors is looking for an Assistant Buyer to support the buying team in managing our growing Franchise business. Strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment are essential.

Job Responsibilities:

• Generate weekly sales reports and analyze business trends to maximize opportunities and profitability.
• Maintain assortment sheets, update pricing, and reconcile orders.
• Recommend reorders for best sellers and provide insights to grow the business.
• Support merchandising guidelines, top investments, and product knowledge sharing with partners.
• Assist in seasonal market organization and confidently present collections to franchise partners.
• Support order processing, follow-up, and order cancellations or replacements.
• Collaborate with buying, planning, operations, and VM teams to execute merchandising strategies.
• Assist with marketing campaigns and partner visits to build brand and market knowledge.
• Ensure timely shipment of orders and support order tracking and updates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Strong Excel and computer skills
• Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
• Fashion sense and trend awareness
