Elvet Recruitment are recruiting an Assistant Site Manager based in the North East on behalf of a well-established Civil Engineering business.

This opportunity will present a brilliant path to candidates who are looking further their career, promoting the companies Health, Safety and Environmental values and providing a clear path towards Site Manager and Project Manager roles in the future.

Duties/Responsibilities:

* Full responsibility for co-ordinating gangs.

* Briefing RAMS.

* Putting staff to work and monitoring progress.

* HSE toolbox talks.

* Site permits.

* Plant checks.

* Assisting Site Agent with daily running of site.

Experience required:

* Experience working as Supervisor on civil engineering projects including: highways, drainage, RC works etc.

* Experience supervising civils gangs on projects £500k+.

* SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS.

* Temporary Works, Streetworks, Confined Spaces and CAT & Genny beneficial

Remuneration:

A salary of up to £45,000 (Depending on Experience) + package and other excellent benefits included with being an employee of the company.
