Purpose of the role

We are looking for an experienced property/business agent to join our Retail team, to be based in our Bristol office. The role involves direct responsibility for sourcing and transacting retail businesses and property, covering the South West of England region. Tasks include generating leads to sell, processing instructions, and managing deals to completion. The agent will identify, contact, and qualify buyers, and will be client-facing, serving as the first point of contact in any sale and dealing with buyers and applicants across the region.

About the team

The role will report directly to our Regional Director and ultimately to the Sector Managing Director. However, you will also work closely with existing regional fee earners, finance and insurance brokers, support staff and a wider central support team of IT and Marketing personnel. Otherwise, you will be encouraged to forge your own relationships with business stakeholders across a given territory.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Focus on growing our brokerage activity in the retail market across the South West of England.
• Generate relationships and develop new business, winning agency mandates across these markets,
• through various prospecting methods.
• Register and maintain client requirements on our Salesforce CRM system.
• Liaise closely with sector team colleagues in securing, listing, marketing and managing opportunities
• for sale.
• Negotiate and agree deals, and manage the sales process.
• Provide regular client updates on instruction activity.
