Harmonic is proud to be working with an innovative, fast-growing D2C consumer fashion brand that is now seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead the next phase of its growth journey, reporting to the company directors.
Our client is a mission-led business focused on providing premium, sustainable products directly to consumers. Having built a loyal customer base and achieved impressive year-on-year growth, the company is well-funded and poised to scale. The business is known for its creative culture, commitment to sustainability, and strong sense of community. The Role
This is a pivotal appointment, offering the chance to set the strategic direction and steer the business through an exciting period of growth and international expansion. Reporting directly to the Board, the CEO will hold full P&L responsibility, drive commercial performance, and ensure that the company’s mission remains at the heart of its strategy.
Duties
- Define and execute the long-term vision and growth strategy, balancing commercial ambition with brand purpose.
- Take full P&L ownership, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are achieved.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing senior leadership team, driving accountability and operational excellence.
- Oversee the go-to-market strategy, ensuring marketing, sales, and product initiatives are aligned to deliver growth.
- Lead the business into new markets, evaluating international expansion opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Ensure the company culture remains collaborative, mission-led, and scalable as the team grows.
- Champion data-driven decision making, embedding KPIs and performance metrics across all functions.
- Represent the business externally, serving as the brand ambassador with customers, investors, and industry stakeholders.
Essential Experience
- Proven track record as CEO or in a senior commercial leadership role (COO/CMO/Commercial Director) within a high-growth D2C or consumer brand (omnichannel).
- Robust understanding of Direct-to-Consumer / D2C metrics
- Demonstrable experience scaling a business, ideally internationally.
- Strong commercial acumen with a history of delivering growth and profitability.
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels.
- Passion for sustainability and purpose-led consumer brands.
Non-Essential Experience
- Experience working with PE or VC-backed businesses.
- Experience leading through significant growth, transformation, or restructuring.
