A well-established, fashion-forward retailer with a strong presence on the UK high street is looking for an experienced and ambitious Commercial Finance Manager to join its Commercial Finance team. This is a key role supporting strategic business areas including digital, marketing, retail performance, and customer insight.

What You’ll Be Doing


Strategic Planning & Business Partnering

  • Lead rolling forecasts, scenario planning, and budgeting for digital and marketing channels.
  • Identify financial opportunities and risks, delivering insights that influence strategic direction.
  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders to support revenue growth and cost management.


Financial Analysis & Insight

  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness, customer behaviours, and promotional performance.
  • Build robust financial models and pricing strategies to guide commercial decision-making.
  • Support investment cases with clear financial impact assessments.


Reporting & Controls

  • Manage end-of-period reporting (Opex/Capex), ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial performance.
  • Produce insightful reports that focus on implications and forward-looking actions—not just past results.
  • Uphold compliance with all financial reporting standards and internal controls.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Digital, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Ops to align business and financial strategies.
  • Bring commercial finance to life—translate numbers into action for a broad stakeholder base.


Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and guide junior members of the finance team.
  • Step in for the Senior Finance Manager when needed, taking ownership of high-level priorities.


About You


  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 3+ years post-qualification experience in commercial finance or FP&A.
  • Commercially savvy with a strong analytical mindset and an eye for detail.
  • Confident communicator able to challenge and influence across departments.
  • Skilled in Excel and financial modelling; ERP system experience (e.g., Oracle) is a plus.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and juggling multiple priorities.
