The Role

You will join the team full-time to support a high-profile Formula 1 driver’s fashion label, blending merchandise with contemporary streetwear. As the Events Retail Operations Manager, you will be delivering retail pop-ups at Formula 1 races and other motorsport events around the world. As operational lead, you will oversee all aspects on site, ensuring every detail is executed to the highest standard.

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Event Retail Operations Manager to deliver unforgettable retail experiences for a high-profile Formula 1 driver’s fashion label. This role sits at the intersection of operations, retail, and events, ensuring every pop-up and on-site experience is executed to the highest standard. You will cover everything from planning to logistics to on site delivery at Formula 1 races and motorsport events around the world.

Your responsibilities (but not limited to)

Event Planning Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of all elements of retail event planning, including but not limited to location sourcing, site visits, operational planning, scheduling, staffing, and all other infrastructure.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for planning and executing each pop-up.
  • Connect all relevant internal teams, such as marketing, design, social and merchandising, to execute each event.
  • Source local suppliers or partners for each retail space around the world.
  • Develop store layouts tailored to each space and for each location’s needs and identify fixture & design requirements.
  • Coordinate directly with the Supply Chain Manager to guarantee accurate and timely distribution of stock and equipment to event sites.
  • Oversee permits, structural documentation and health & safety compliance.
  • Work within strict deadlines and cost parameters, achieving or exceeding event sales and profit targets.


Event Delivery Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all on-site activity, from build and installation (including fixtures and POS) to breakdown, ensuring seamless service throughout.
  • Oversee the event team, ensuring responsibilities are carried out promptly and that customer service standards are consistently met.
  • Be the primary problem solver and resolve operational challenges swiftly during every event.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, venues and wider industry partners.
  • Work with finance to review profit and loss reports and compile post-event analysis to identify both successes and opportunities for future improvement.


About you

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Retail Operations — A bonus if this is within motorsport with experience internationally.
  • Based in the UK and can visit London numerous times a month — It’s a bonus if you live in London or the surrounding area.
  • Comfortable spending 15 weeks and weekends on location globally.
  • A natural leader with the ability to network and build purposeful working relationships.
  • Highly organised, proactive and experienced with streamlining processes and improving ways of working.
  • Calm under pressure, able to make effective decisions in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong negotiation skills, confident in reviewing and challenging suppliers.
  • Not essential but it’s always a bonus if you’re a Formula 1 fan.
