EYFS – SEN Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking passionate and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant in Sheffield to work closely with a child in Reception on a 1-1. The child will need support with speech and language. You’ll be supported by the speech and language lead and SEN team.

The child has their own timetable, which involves sensory play and activities.

This is an exciting role for a new or experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support tailored to individual learning plans

  • Support with personal care.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment

    • What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children with SEND (preferred)

  • Paediatric First Aid – essential

  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting children

  • Comfortable with personal care.

  • Previous experience working with children within school or nursery setting.
