We're SoloBudd.com, a Manchester-based travel tech startup building something special.

We're developing an AI-powered app to make solo travel safer and more genuinely connected by linking travellers with each other and verified local hosts.

Our mission is built on Authenticity, Safety, and Community.

We're pre-launch (6 weeks to go), pre-funding, and powered by pure passion. Now, we're looking for our first Founding Brand Ambassadors to help us build this from the ground up.

The Mission (This is NOT a coffee-run internship, its fun):

This isn't about stacking shelves; it's about shaping a brand. For 3 months, you'll be a core part of our initial marketing push. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to:

Be the voice of SoloBudd: Hit the streets of your city (wherever you are in the world!) and create authentic, fun, non-intrusive video content.
Capture real stories: Interview locals and travellers, asking them engaging questions about their experiences, connections, and adventures.
Create for social: Produce content primarily for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts that embodies our "real-world connection" vibe.

Who We're Looking For (The Vibe):

You're a natural storyteller who finds the interesting in the everyday.
You live on social media and understand what makes a great Reel or TikTok.
You believe travel is about connection, with REAL people.
You're independent, proactive, and excited by the idea of being part of a startup's journey from day zero.
A passion for travel is essential; a love for solo travel is a massive plus!

Your Skills & Experience:

Proven ability to create engaging short-form video content for social media.
Basic video editing skills on a phone or laptop (CapCut, Reels editor, etc.).
You're comfortable approaching and chatting with new people.
A qualification or experience in digital media, marketing, film, or journalism is a big advantage.
Having your own engaged social media following is a bonus, but not essential.
Fluent in English. Other languages are a major plus!

The Important Details:

Role: Brand Ambassador (Volunteer)
Location: Fully Remote (You can be a Dutch creator in Thailand, a student in Manchester, or anywhere in between!)
Commitment: Approx. 2-3 hours per day, for 3 months. Flexible schedule.
A Note on Age: As this role requires creating content that authentically represents and engages with our core target audience, applicants should ideally be within the 18-35 age demographic to ensure relatability. This is considered a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010.
