About the Role:

Pertemps Education is currently recruiting for a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to support a primary SEN school in Merton. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in special educational needs support within a structured and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support teaching staff in delivering lessons and activities tailored to pupils’ individual needs.
Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with SEN, including ASD and ADHD.
Assist with behaviour management and encourage positive social interactions.
Observe, monitor, and report on pupil progress to teachers and SEN team.
Help prepare and adapt learning resources to meet the needs of the pupils.
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.Candidate Requirements:

Recent graduate with a relevant degree (Education, Psychology, or related field preferred).
Experience or interest in working with children with SEN is advantageous.
Patient, empathetic, and adaptable, with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
