Closing Date: 22nd October 2025 Location: Nottingham Contract: Secondment 12 months Recruitment Partner: Frankie McCallister-Lyas Overview: The Assistant Marketing Manager, works within the In Store Marketing Team, reporting to the Marketing Manager. You will work closely with the Beauty business unit to take campaigns and develop them specifically for the instore channel. Delivering against our instore marketing plan the high level kit required for each sales plan period, right down to shelf edge execution. Working on exciting new product launches, the Love Island partnership, Make More Room For Beauty etc.

End to end delivery of all Beauty POS set out by the ISM plan and ad hoc requests to Boots BVI principles, right first time on time and executed through the agreed process and channels i.e. briefing our creative agency through to production. Being a true partner with our beauty business unit team, to take top line creative and develop further specifically for the instore channels. By briefing creative agencies, providing creative feedback and keeping the business unit up to speed with work. Manage POS critical paths and costs in line with project plans and managing stakeholder expectations. Responsible for the creation and management of Flo approval of all artworks into the print production process for delivery into stores, in accordance to timescales of the CPA and meeting the ISM budget. Work with and manage our design agencies and production & print agency to produce and deliver high level and base showmaterial into stores as per BVI guidelines- upholding the principles across each project that land in store. Accountable for the creative pack and production pack development and creation for all beauty high level and base. Responsible for engagement of key stakeholders where necessary, the business unit, trading, merchandising and senior stakeholders. Taking top line briefs and asks, using knowledge and expertise to recommend the best use of our kit of parts instore to land projects. Work closely with the beauty trading teams and brands to bring them on the creative journey with us.

What you'll need to have:

Strong written and verbal communication skills Be a self motivated individual A basic knowledge of the marketing material in our stores. Confident working with Microsoft excel Experience of and confident in presenting and talking about your work

It would be great if you also have:

Experience working on large campaigns. Creative skills - i.e briefing and feeding back.
