MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT (COMMERCIAL DUTIES!) - RETAIL/FOOD WHOLESALE - £60-65k BENEFITS Your new company I am supporting a prominent wholesale food retailer, regarded for their high quality, who is seeking a Management Accountant to expand their finance team! This role offers an exciting blend of management accounting, financial reporting and commercial/FP&A duties such as budgeting & forecasting and supporting business decisions. You'll play a large role in assisting with the company's growth and success.

This role offers significant growth potential! Your new role Reporting to the FC, you will be responsible for: Producing monthly management account packs Managing and reconciling the Profit and Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements Cash flow management Provide analysis, insight and informative reporting to support and influence business decisions Cost analysis, monitoring COGs & stock Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting Coordinate year-end audit requests and assist to prepare statutory accounts VAT Systems improvement Ad hoc finance projects and analysis What you’ll need to succeed In order to succeed, you will be a Qualified Finance Professional (or finalist or QBE!) with experience within a Food / Retail environment - with stock experience.
