This is a rare opportunity to influence how investors access and use information—bringing greater transparency, accountability, and investor protection to global capital markets.Whether your background is in audit, accounting, or investment research, if you’re curious, collaborative, and passionate about the role of quality information in decision-making, we want to hear from you.What You’ll DoContribute to CFA Institute’s thought leadership in financial and sustainability disclosures.Engage with standard-setters, regulators, and policymakers, representing the investor voice in consultations, roundtables, and global initiatives.Write and publish technical articles, blogs, and comment letters that explain complex disclosure topics in accessible language.Collaborate across teams (research, advocacy, content) to align messaging and policy goals.Stay ahead of trends in corporate disclosures, including developments in financial reporting (IFRS/US GAAP), ESG, assurance, and data analytics.What You’ll NeedEssentialA professional qualification or track record in accounting, audit, assurance, or investment analysis: A CNote: This section will be refined for clarity if needed in the final version.ACA, CA, CPA, CFA (or progress toward one of these).Experience working with or analyzing corporate disclosures, including financial statements, earnings reports, or regulatory filings.Strong understanding of financial reporting concepts (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP).Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical topics for diverse audiences.A strong interest in policy development and regulatory engagement.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on cross-functional projects.DesirableExposure to sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., ISSB, CSRD, TCFD, SASB).Familiarity with regulatory processes or standard-setting bodies (e.g., SEC, FASB, IASB).Prior experience contributing to public comment letters, industry responses, or internal policy positions.Why Join UsAt CFA Institute, your work will have global impact. In compliance with wage transparency laws in many jurisdictions, we provide the following information regarding compensation for this position: Expected salary range: US $120,000 - $140,000 per year, UK £60,000- £70,000 per year. Salary ranges are subject to adjustment based on experience, education, location and other factors relevant to the position.
