Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm (42.5 hours/week, 1-hour unpaid lunch)
Additional hours may be required during peak periods (e.g. harvest), including occasional Saturdays.
About the Role
My client is seeking a motivated and experienced Parts & Retail Manager to lead the Parts Departments at two of their locations. This is a key leadership role within a collaborative, professional team committed to delivering outstanding service to internal departments and external customers.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and performance of the parts operation, including overseeing showroom and goods-inward functions, managing departmental staff, maintaining accurate stock control, and ensuring a high standard of customer service and communication.
This position plays an integral role in supporting our Service and Sales teams, as well as working closely with key customers, trade partners, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the effective daily operations of the Parts Departments across both sites
- Manage parts stock, showroom layout, goods inward process, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Lead, support, and develop the parts team to meet departmental goals and KPIs
- Ensure accurate and timely communication between customers, internal teams, and suppliers
- Drive departmental profitability and efficiency through strong organisation and process improvement
- Liaise with service and sales teams to support equipment maintenance and product availability
- Knowledge and experience with agricultural and/or groundcare machinery and parts (preferred)
- Previous supervisory or management experience within a parts or retail environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Organised and methodical approach to problem-solving
- High level of discretion when handling confidential information
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable working towards targets and deadlines
- Excellent IT and systems proficiency
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the role
