London Borough of Tower Hamlets ensure that their social workers have as much support as possible, helping them to keep a really good work life balance!ResponsibilitiesSupport the Team Manager, in order to deliver the key strategic aims of the organisation and to ensure that citizens have access to a high quality service, ensuring high quality standards of professional practice and performance in service delivery, developing a culture of continuous improvement within the team.Supporting the Team Manager in driving forward the delivery of strength based models of practice, maximising the use of service users individual strengths, and that of their support networks, community resources and universal services before utilising council resources.Provide expert guidance in situations of complexity, where there is conflict or resistance and enable others in the team to manage complex and challenging situations.Taking a key role in overseeing practice within the team including the care and support process, the facilitation of annual reviews/reassessments, decision-making regarding eligibility for support and safeguarding.QualificationsSocial Work England registrationEligibility to work in the UKSocial Work qualified (MA/BSc/DipSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)BIA QualificationWorking with Ackerman Pierce you will be guaranteed weekly payment and access to continued profession development, including a dedicated consultant to support you through the interview and on boarding process.
