Job Description

The successful candidate will work daily with technical experts within our established Impact Assessment team, which comprises over 170 staff across Ireland and the UK. The role involves managing environmental inputs to large-scale development projects, including energy generation and distribution, highway improvements, and strategic national and regional rail projects.

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expertise in environmental impact assessment and management
  • Ensuring quality of deliverables and compliance with quality management procedures
  • Project management, including resource and budget management
  • Collaborating with integrated design teams to improve environmental outcomes
  • Managing client relationships and internal supply teams
  • Promoting AECOM’s environmental services and identifying business development opportunities

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in a relevant environmental discipline and professional membership (Chartered Environmentalists preferred)
  • Comprehensive EIA consultancy experience and proven skills in managing environmental reports
  • A detailed understanding of relevant Irish consenting regimes and environmental legislation
  • Project management skills, including programming, staff resource, and budget management
  • A commitment to innovation and continuing professional development
