Introduction

Acorn by Synergie has a fantastic opportunity for a Product Designer with Autodesk Inventor and product design experience to join a retail design team near Swindon. Applicants with SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD experience, and exposure to the industry, will be the perfect fit. The role involves working with clients including Superdry, TK Maxx, and other retail brands.

Key Duties:

Produce technical drawings and designs in line with company philosophy of practicality and cost-effectiveness. Create manufacturing drawings to a standard acceptable to contractors and suppliers within agreed timelines. Represent the company to clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors as required. Report weekly to the Design Studio Manager to plan workload. Design and produce accurate, detailed drawings to agreed programme. Develop briefs with clients, confirm in writing, and forward to client. Manage prototypes to a high standard, liaising with buying and project management teams.
