What You’ll Do

  • Collaborative Category Development: Cultivate strong partnerships with brick & mortar retail partners, understand their business objectives, and craft tailored strategies to expand the skincare category while positioning CPD brands for growth.
  • Category Expertise & Insights: Build credibility as a shopper insights and category trends expert; analyse market data and develop actionable recommendations and compelling presentations.
  • Range Review Management: Lead the range review process, analyse assortment performance, identify gaps and opportunities, and recommend optimised product ranges tailored to each retailer's needs; track and share results.
  • Project Management & Execution: Support the development and implementation of category initiatives that enhance the shopper experience and drive sales.
  • Shopper Advocacy: Champion the shopper by analysing behaviour and motivations; share insights across internal teams to influence marketing, product development, and category planning.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use sales and shopper data tools (Nielsen Answers, IRI) to analyse performance, track key metrics, and measure impact of category initiatives.

Who You Are

  • Category Management experience: 3+ years in category management insight or customer-facing roles.
  • Analytical & Insight-Driven: strong analytical capabilities; synthesize data from multiple sources to identify trends and transform insights into actionable narratives.
  • Commercial Acumen: understanding of the retail landscape and skincare market; translate data into strategies that drive results.
  • Relationship Builder: effective communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Growth Mindset & Proactive, Results-Oriented: curious and organized, with a drive to learn and deliver.
  • Passion for Category: enthusiasm for industry trends and delivering exceptional shopper experiences.
