OverviewA fantastic opportunity has arisen in a highly successful Global asset management company for a mid-level retail funds lawyer to join their legal team.ResponsibilitiesAdvising on Retail funds (including OEICs) as well as domestic and international fund authorisationsAssisting with the launch of a major international umbrella fund and its sub-funds.Assisting with general regulatory advice in the EU (including AIFMD) & US.Advising on ad hoc compliance mattersAdvising the business on general asset management legal mattersEssential skillsQualified lawyer with minimum 3PQE at a major law firm or asset management business.Excellent academicsA team-player who can work effectively with colleagues at all levels.Business facing experience and the ability to understand and respond effectively to commercial needs.A Commercial approachStrong knowledge of retail funds especially Open Ended Investment CompaniesSome technology experience and familiarity with web-based funds desirable though not essentialPrior in-house experience / in-house secondment experience also desirable though not essentialAbility to work autonomously when necessary #J-18808-Ljbffr
