The brand is a global business delivering market-leading growth, innovative retail and product launches fuelled by industry-leading tech, with a culture focused on embracing challenges, disruptive thinking, winning together, and sharing the magic.About The RoleWe’re looking for an ambitious and experienced Retail Manager to join our Travel Retail team.Responsibilities include building retailer relationships, identifying commercial opportunities, leading a field team comprising store-based business managers and retail artists, and managing budgets. You should demonstrate strong budget management capability and be confident in retail sales forecasting, reporting, and data analysis. KPIs include retail sales achievement, market share gains, mystery shopping score, and team turnover.ResponsibilitiesSales Objectives and Market Share Gains: Define development and growth strategies with the Head of Travel Retail, Europe for designated accounts and implement them in stores; deliver sell-out in line with forecast commitments; identify and capitalise on opportunities to drive brand awareness, performance, and market share across the region.Account Management: Build strong relationships with retailer contacts to optimise brand presence, maximise share of voice, and negotiate joint trading plans; deliver regular business/sales updates and market insights; lead quarterly business reviews and external strategy meetings with action-driven plans.High Performance Teams: Recruit, set targets, and inspire the field teams; address performance and engagement needs; work with the field training manager to meet development and training needs within the region.Brand Image Building and Launch of New Campaigns: Collaborate with Travel Retail Marketing & VM to develop trade plans and on-counter activities; launch and sustain new products and campaigns per the global Travel Retail Marketing strategy.Effective Commercial & Budget Management: Monthly store-level retail forecasting; forecast and manage all retail staffing costs and incentives with finance and retailer partners; manage T&E budget within approved monthly expenditure.Operational Excellence: Set standards for execution, support new processes, and enhance in-store presentation, including assortment, stock availability, and price updates.Who You Will Work WithYou will report to the Head of Travel Retail - Continental EU and work closely with the wider commercial team.About YouMust be able to travel within the region and to the Magic Office regularly (roughly a 40/60 split).Extensive experience in retail or sales management; direct experience in Travel Retail is desirable but not mandatory.Strong people focus, team spirited, and passionate about developing teams.Proven track record of successful negotiations and the ability to influence others.Target-focused and results-driven; excellent numerical and analytical skills.Effective written and verbal communication with a structured and organized approach; excellent presentation skills and classroom delivery.Personable and approachable; able to build rapport quickly and effectively.Self-starter, able to motivate oneself and others; ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing priorities (agility is key).Solution-oriented with timely problem-solving abilities.German language is desirable but not mandatory.Charlotte Tilbury is a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
