We are recruiting for a Retail Operations Analyst to work in our Billericay office. Role purpose Supporting Commercial Planning for the Field, optimising the efficiencies of Retail Operations by analysing and identifying opportunities to reduce field operational costs. Responsibilities

Process and analyse field operational costs; support authorisation of all timesheets and expense claims for the field in accordance with policy. Escalate noncompliance to the People Team for action. Provide timely quantitative analysis to support Retail Operations in driving efficiencies in travel, admin and expense costs. Monitor the holiday budget for the field on a quarterly basis, highlight operational issues to the Retail Manager, and communicate to support adherence to holiday bookings. Analyse absence in the field to ensure policy compliance and raise concerns to the People Team as needed. Assist in creating and distributing weekly Trade updates for the Field.

Ad-hoc support to Retail Operations

Identify vacancies by zone/town and liaise with Resourcing to ensure positions are advertised with priority, including heads, hours, and working pattern. Perform recurring and ad hoc quantitative analyses to support resourcing and hours, driving efficiencies in operations. Produce clear, concise, and insightful data analytics to enable stakeholders to make informed business decisions.

Essential – Skills, experience and qualifications

Data driven with an analytical mindset Experience in an analytical role manipulating data and producing reports Advanced Excel skills and competent with the Microsoft 365 suite Confident communicator

Experience in/with retail operations Experience working in a volume processing environment Ability to make clear recommendations for driving efficiencies based on analysis
