  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate delivery and regulatory risks before launch. Follow product development and risk & compliance procedures.
  • Help develop and maintain propositions on industry quote portals and best advice systems.
  • Understand regulatory changes and their impact on the protection market, and assess what changes are needed to stay compliant.
  • Understand the commercial aspects of protection plans, such as pricing and reinsurance, as part of the development process.
  • Act as a retail protection expert across the business, helping other areas as required.
  • Develop and maintain a network of experts in all relevant areas.

What we’re looking for

  • An understanding of the advised and UK Life market is required; additional experience in the non-advised market is preferred.
  • Experience in the UK Retail Protection market is preferred.
  • A passion for protecting customers’ financial futures.
  • Experience in leading multi-functional project teams of varying scales and complexities.
  • Effective communication skills tailored to each situation, ensuring all stakeholders can contribute and feel listened to.
  • A self-starter with a growth mindset, capable of creative thinking to overcome delivery obstacles.
  • Comfort using data, research, and feedback to balance competing demands and achieve optimal proposition design.
  • Commitment to developing protection subject matter expertise to provide technical guidance across the business.
  • Experience in planning and developing marketing/take-to-market content to support launches and campaigns.
