Overview

We are looking to recruit an ambitious, confident and enthusiastic Retail Store Manager who can represent our Company in our Richmond store. You will be reporting to the Retail Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, efficient, pleasant and unrivalled customer service.
• Ensure the store is well stocked, clean and tidy and that customers leave with a lasting image to encourage repeat visits.
• Strong understanding of stock control, including ordering goods, dealing with deliveries and banking monies.
• Be a hands-on manager and operate the till in accordance with company instructions.
• Maintain the highest possible standard of customer service.
• Ensure shelves are well filled/stocked and faced at all times.
• Ensure correct pricing and stock rotation, including removal from sale of goods past use-by dates and report any Best Before issues to management.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and safety throughout the store.
• Observe company rules at all times and report any breaches observed.
• Ensure all staff cooperate to ensure smooth store operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide excellent customer service, ideally with experience in food retail.
• Good cash handling skills.
• Excellent staff supervision and organisational skills.
• Organised and practically minded; able to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
• Experience in roles such as Retail Store Supervisor/Manager, Food Retail, Supermarket, Customer Service, Convenience Store, etc. is a plus.

The store trades Monday to Sunday; the successful candidate must be flexible to work within these hours. We are looking for someone with flair and ideas, who enjoys sales and promotions, and who aims to hit and exceed targets.
