As the Retail Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the Talent Acquisition Lead by delivering a comprehensive and efficient recruitment and onboarding service for Retail roles across our 17 shops in the UK and supporting internationally if required. You’ll be responsible for attracting, identifying, and securing exceptional talent, all while ensuring a seamless and engaging candidate experience that reflects the Paul Smith brand at every stage. The position is based from our London Office and offers hybrid working and flexi-time.

The Role
• To be responsible for an efficient full recruitment life cycle of sourcing, interviewing and selection and communication of competitive offers.
• Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Lead to provide recruitment advice and support to Area Managers and Shop Management.
• To ensure that Paul Smith Ltd. recruits and selects employees in a legally compliant manner.
• To conduct interviews for Sales Consultants either face to face or online.
• Utilise the Applicant Tracking System (Jobtrain) to effectively manage all recruitment tasks, including shortlisting candidates.
• Draft compelling job adverts that reflect the role, align with the brand tone of voice, and attract the right talent.
• To support with the booking of temporary staff requested by the Shop Managers, ensuring clear communication with both the Shop Managers and designated temp agency and ensuring to remain within shop budgets at all times.
• Work with the Talent team to ensure all vacancies are advertised using the most appropriate platforms and collaborate with the Marketing department to develop the Paul Smith employer brand, raising the profile of our recruitment opportunities on social media, particularly LinkedIn.
• To actively use job boards to search, identify and connect with the best talent for our shops, including working on talent pools for future vacancies.
• To ensure that all applicants meet the Asylum & Immigration criteria and that all documentation required at the interview is up to date and correct.

Your Skills and Experience
• Proven full life cycle recruitment experience with large volumes of roles.
• Previous experience interviewing face to face or via telephone.
• Extensive experience using LinkedIn as a recruitment tool.
• Current employment law knowledge and awareness of best recruitment practice.
• Experience advising Management and employees on recruitment processes.
• Previous experience of utilising an Applicant Tracking System.
