    • Role responsibilities for the Retail/Trade Sales Assistant:

  • Engaging with customers and team members to provide exceptional customer experiences and service
  • Driving sales performance through our training
  • Utilising your enthusiasm and knowledge
  • Appreciating our customer’s needs and giving advice for customer’s requirements
  • Building relationships with both trade and DIY customers
  • Generating new trade leads through telesales
  • Working as part of a team to maintain showroom stock levels and store appearance
  • Resolving customer queries following Company procedures in a professional manner
  • Some manual lifting will be involved

    • Person Specification – Retail/Trade Sales Assistant:

  • Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar bathroom and tile retail role/environment but this is not essential
  • Experience in providing customer service to the general public is essential
  • Friendly, helpful and confident with an engaging personality
  • Able to easily build rapport
  • Comfortable and confident in dealing with a variety of customer situations in a professional manner
  • Able to follow company procedures and policies to ensure a complete customer experience
  • You’ll need a smart appearance as this is a customer facing role
  • Must be able to work as part of a team
  • Able to cover store open hours and weekends and bank holidays
