The Job

As a Retail Tutor, you will:

Deliver training in retail operations: sales, merchandising, customer service, stock control, and visual displays

Support learners to develop the practical skills and professionalism needed in retail roles

*

Assess learners’ work, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback

*

Tailor your delivery to different learning styles and modes (in-person, online, blended)

*

Work alongside employers to ensure training aligns with real-world retail practices

Ideal Candidate

You should bring:

Hands-on retail experience in a store, e-commerce, or retail operations

*

A recognized teaching or training qualification (or willingness to work towards it)

*

Excellent communication and coaching skills

*

The ability to engage learners and adapt delivery methods

Experience or confidence in assessing learner performance

A learner-focused, enthusiastic approach
