Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to join our Retail Department, providing support in the Retail Warehouse at East Peckham, Kent.

This is a great opportunity to become a valued member of this busy team, providing vital assistance in the day-to-day working of the Warehouse. Our sales play a significant part in raising the £8 million needed each year to continue with the vital work of the Hospice. 

This role would suit someone who has good IT skills, a good communicator, a keen eye for detail. This role would suit someone who is happy to sort and organise stock in the Warehouse ready for to be sent out to one of our shops, anyone who is willing to learn on the job is welcome.

What will I be doing?

  • Sort and organise clothing donations ready for one of our shops or the online sales team.
  • PAT small electrical items.
  • Ziffit books, CDs and DVDs
  • Sort bric a brac ready for the shops.
  • Sort toys, games and puzzles ready for the shops.
  • Prep stock ready for events
  • Help unload and reload the vans ready for the next day
  • Sort and organise seasonal stock

    • When?

    Hours to suit you; Warehouse is open Mon- Fri 8am - 4pm and Sunday 10am-4pm. Ideally you will be able to work a half or full day per week. You will be based at the Retail Warehouse, Unit 8 Archers Park, East Peckham, Kent, TN12 5HP
