SEMH Teaching Assistant – Greenwich Location: Greenwich, South East London
Pay: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, long-term with potential for permanent placement

We are currently seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is patient, resilient, and committed to helping students with SEMH or behavioural challenges reach their full potential.
Role Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needs.
Help pupils to engage positively in learning and manage their emotions and behaviour effectively.
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff to implement individual support plans.
Encourage personal, social, and emotional development through tailored interventions and mentoring.Requirements:
Previous experience working with SEMH, behaviour management or within a PRU/SEND setting.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with young people.
A calm, patient and empathetic approach to supporting challenging behaviour.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one).What We Offer:
