Salary: £86 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently recruiting for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to work with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support in an inclusive school in Doncaster (DN12).

As a SEMH TA, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
• Providing consistent emotional and behavioural support tailored to individual needs.
• Assisting with off-site provisions and transporting students when required.
• Helping to manage challenging behaviour and build positive relationships.
• Working closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote pupil wellbeing and progress.

Requirements for SEMH Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or challenging behaviour.
• Be calm, empathetic, and resilient under pressure.
• Be confident supporting learning across a range of subjects and settings.
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
• Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the past 10 years.
