Role Overview

Position: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Lambeth
Contract: Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 4:00pm
Start Date: Immediate
Pay Rate: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one and group support for students with SEMH needs.
Encourage positive learning behaviour and emotional resilience.
Work closely with teachers and specialists to tailor learning support.
Build trusting relationships that promote confidence and wellbeing.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

What You’ll Bring

Previous experience supporting children with SEMH or additional needs.
Excellent communication, empathy, and patience.
Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and effectively.
A passion for making education accessible to every learner.
An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
