Do you have a passion for supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs? Do you have experience working in a primary school and are keen to make a real difference?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Harrow, starting immediately. This role involves one-to-one support with pupils who have a range of special educational needs, particularly Autism.
The school offers outstanding facilities for its SEND pupils, including a specialist unit and sensory space designed to enhance learning and development. You will provide essential support to pupils with Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs, helping them to feel secure, valued, and ready to learn.
Experience with Makaton, PECS, or British Sign Language is highly advantageous, and applicants with Team Teach training are strongly encouraged to apply. If you're not yet trained but are eager to develop, Tradewind can support you with a wide range of CPD courses to help build your skills.
