Reeson Education is looking for dedicated and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Waltham Forest. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or someone with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs to enjoy flexible work that fits around their schedule.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll have the chance to work across a range of inclusive schools that cater to pupils with additional needs such as autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language delays, and mild to moderate learning difficulties.

Role Details for the SEN Teaching Assistant:

Pay: £82.14-£100 per day (PAYE)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Primary schools across Waltham Forest, including Walthamstow, Leyton, and Chingford

Working Pattern: Flexible days to suit your availability

What You'll Do as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

Support pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, helping them access the curriculum

Provide tailored learning support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and social or emotional needs

Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement individual learning plans (EHCPs)

Encourage positive behaviour and promote independence in learning

Adapt to different classrooms and support children of varying abilities

Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant:

Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a primary school or SEN setting preferred

A patient, calm, and resilient nature

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions

Flexibility and reliability - able to adapt to new settings easily

A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
