SEN Teaching Assistant - Corby, Northamptonshire
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £90-£100 per day (PAYE, depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a specialist SEN school in Corby to recruit a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of complex needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with additional needs in a structured, supportive environment.

This well-established special school in Corby caters for children and young people aged 4 to 18 with a wide range of needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, sensory processing challenges and moderate to severe learning difficulties. The school has a strong focus on personalised learning, emotional development, and life skills. With excellent staff training, resources, and a highly supportive leadership team, the school provides a positive and inclusive setting where all pupils can succeed.

About the Role

Supporting pupils with EHCPs on a 1:1 and small group basis

Assisting with communication, emotional regulation and sensory needs

Working closely with class teachers, therapists and support staff

Adapting learning activities to suit individual needs

Promoting independence, engagement and personal development

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced in supporting children or young people with SEND

Calm, patient and confident in managing behaviour

Able to adapt quickly and work as part of a team

Positive, proactive and committed to inclusive education

Willing to support personal care where needed
