Our client, a global FinTech / Fund Services provider to Life and Pensions, Wealth and Asset Management clients, is currently seeking a Digital Product Senior Director to lead the digital product teams across the 3 sectors, collaborating closely with the leaders of the digital development and delivery teams. This is a new role requiring a strong people manager, with a proven track record in digital product / digital delivery, ideally from an asset management, wealth management and/or life and pensions outsourcing background. Strong client facing skills are essential as the successful candidate will be collaborating with clients, technologists and innovators to shape and define the Digital Solutions that power the firm’s clients and their investors.

Responsibilities:

• Drive growth by leading teams defining and presenting Digital solutions for the 3 client sectors: Wealth, Asset Management, Life and Pensions.
• Drive Wealth market Strategy and Solution Proposition Evolution for defined Digital Products.
• Create compelling solutions to underpin core propositions and innovate in creating new offerings to existing market.
• Drive and define the Strategic roadmap to support Digital Product evolution.
• Provide leadership to the wider team with Market and Domain expertise (direct reports will number 5 – 10).
• Create strategies and teams to demonstrate the firm’s capabilities and service offering to enable Sales / revenue growth.
• Lead on (and Lead teams that) identifying customer/prospect needs, translating into the firm’s Digital solutions and elements that can differentiate the firm.
• Core contributor to drive solution strategy alongside technologists.
• Represent opportunities internally with key leadership stakeholders.
• Create relevant documentation and methodologies to both showcase capability and also feed the delivery teams.
• Create high functioning teams, and a culture of people development.

Experience required:

• Previous extensive experience in a similar Digital product and digital delivery leadership role from an asset management / wealth management / life and pensions outsourcing perspective.
• Previous role in Solutions consultancy, architecture or sales and product development would be beneficial, as would any previous operations experience.
• Ideally have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; or be graduate calibre with a wealth of relevant experience.
• Ability to work under pressure, always maintaining a calm and assertive manner.
• High level of interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external clients / prospects, and internal stakeholders across the organisation.
• Ideally have knowledge of Transfer Agency operations.
