We are recruiting for an entrepreneurial Showroom Manager to join a luxury retail brand in their West London showroom. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is motivated by delivering exceptional customer service.
You'll be responsible for driving sales and coordinating the smooth operations of the ever-changing showroom environment alongside the Country Manager and Account Managers - leading a team which ranges from 30 to 100 employees weekly, depending on the event.
Your designated working days will be Monday - Thursday with occasional Fridays working 40-45 hours per week
Responsibilities:
Team Management and Leadership: Lead a team of Showroom Assistants, Inventory Managers, and Cashier Managers, who supervise teams of Helpers, Stock Managers, Sales Advisors, and Cashiers. Coach, train, and motivate them daily, ensuring they understand our brand partners' requirements.
Assist Showroom Assistants in supervising their teams: position allocation, offer briefings, break management, etc.
Prepare and organize team briefings before each sale, covering the offer specifics, daily and weekly sales targets, and strategies to achieve them.
Collaborate with the HR team to evaluate permanent and temporary employees.
Achieving Business Objectives:
Develop and optimize sales based on daily objectives by monitoring commercial indicators.
Relay customer feedback to the sales team to maximize sales.
Be proactive in suggesting improvements to enhance showroom performance (e.g., merchandising adjustments).
Supervise and validate incoming and outgoing inventories.
Analyze event KPIs and identify areas for improvement for future events.
Prepare weekly sales reports on the quantitative and qualitative aspects of each event.
Showroom Operations:
Coordinate product reception, inventory, and merchandising before each sale according to specific plans.
Maintain shelves during sales, ensuring merchandising standards and stock replenishment.
Welcome, inform, and advise customers, acting as a true ambassador for the brand.
Coordinate the repackaging of collections post-sale according to brand specifications.
Who are you:
At least 3 years of successful experience in similar roles within the fashion and luxury sectors, particularly in boutiques/stores with high customer flow (outlet boutiques and/or mass market stores).
Proficient in management and team leadership techniques. Hands-on involvement in showroom operations is a must.
