Social Media Manager - GAME / Studio Retail

OverviewWe’re seeking a passionate, energetic Social Media Manager to join the GAME and Studio Retail teams. GAME and Studio brands are undergoing a strategic evolution with a refined purpose. You will work closely with the Social Lead and in-house social media and content creation teams to execute the strategy across GAME, Studio, with potential to expand to additional channels.Key objectives include increasing reach, site traffic, engagement and paid CTR. You will ensure all communication and content reflect each brand’s personality, deliver on marketing objectives, and leverage culture to drive relevance. Primary channels in year one will include Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.ResponsibilitiesContent Creation and Management: Develop, curate, and manage content for social media in collaboration with creative and production teams.Attend shoots with models, celebrities and brands to capture social-first photography and video content.Strategy Development: Create and implement social media strategies aligned with business goals.Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and monitor social media campaigns.Engagement: Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster community engagement.Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyse, and report on social media performance metrics.Collaboration: Work with marketing, PR, customer service and other departments to coordinate efforts.Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends, tools and best practices; share insights with wider teams.Develop engaging copy for long- and short-form content; establish tone of voice in line with brand positioning.Work with paid social teams to execute paid campaigns and distribute content across platforms where the audience is active.QualificationsMeticulous organization and timekeeping in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.Attention to detail from a creative and copywriting perspective.Ability to translate brand direction into social ideas and content.Ability to identify relevant cultural insights and apply them to creative thinking.Strong understanding of how people engage with social platforms and evolving behaviours.Ability to translate data into insights to inform creative strategy.Excellent facilitation skills for workshops and sprints.Ability to develop inspirational briefs for the creative content team.Solution-oriented mindset.Additional InformationAlong with a benefits package, we offer a wide range of colleague perks, including recognition programs, company events, leadership sessions, store/warehouse learning experiences, wellbeing and employee welfare initiatives.What’s next?
