Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant Location: England, Greater London, Merton Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: 95 - 110 Per day Benefits: PAYE Job Duties: Provide support to special needs students in the classroom Assist the teacher in implementing individual education plans Help students with personal care needs, including feeding and toileting Support students in their social and emotional development Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment Required Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Relevant experience working with special needs children Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of special educational needs and disabilities Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents Strong organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: First Aid certification Makaton or other communication training Working Conditions: Work in a classroom setting Potential exposure to challenging behaviours Regular interaction with special needs students All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
