What you will do

  • Build and scale a network of commercial partnerships for a new retail media product, with a strong focus on the UK and US markets.
  • Acquire early clients, generate revenue, and help shape the product and business strategy.
  • Identify, initiate, and develop strategic partnerships with retailers and their retail media networks, retail and DTC brands, media and performance agencies, and retail media ecosystem platforms (e.g., martech, adtech, CDPs).
  • Co-develop the go-to-market strategy in collaboration with the CCO and product team.
  • Support the creation of sales and partnership materials including pitch decks, proposals, and pricing models.
  • Lead the full sales and partnership cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
  • Test and refine commercial models (e.g., CPC, tenancy, revenue share, SaaS).
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and product demos.

About you

  • Have a passion for retail media.
  • Bring demonstrable experience in strategic business development, partnerships, or B2B sales within retail and/or retail media.
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment and have experience working with clients or partners in the UK or US markets.
  • Be curious, research-oriented, and able to ask questions; be results- and target-driven.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Be a creative thinker with a proactive mindset ("how can we...").
  • Show a strong desire to succeed and make a difference.

Experience and skills that will help you succeed

  • Excellent relationship-building and deal-closing capabilities.
  • Existing contacts within retail media teams (e.g., Walmart, Tesco Media, Sainsbury's, Boots Media, Target Roundel).
  • Familiar with European or US retail media landscapes.
