OverviewYou will predominantly be responsible for supporting the Retail Asset Management team who look after our Midlands & South West portfolio. This is a newly created team that consists of five Asset Managers.ResponsibilitiesFirst point of contact for all incoming calls and correspondence from Retailers & AdvisorsDiary management - arranging meetings/ conference calls and booking meeting roomsManaging team meetings, collating and agreeing the agenda, taking minutes, ensuring following up in the required timescalesProducing documents to tight deadlines ensuring high attention to detailBuild, develop and manage relationships with all internal and external partiesClose liaison with Executive PAs to ensure priorities are communicated and any outstanding matters are followed up in a timely mannerEnsuring the Customer Relationship Management system is kept up to dateTravel arrangements - organising flights, hotels etc.Maintaining contacts - ensuring contact details are kept up-to-dateGeneral administration - photocopying, scanning, binding documents, filing, expenses, payment of invoicesFuture opportunity for inbox management of Head of Retail Assets (Midlands & South West)QualificationsExperience of working in a similar team assistant or PA role at a FTSE 250 companyMust have an excellent attention to detail and accuracyFlexibility - must be able to deal with different levels of workloadStrong knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Acrobat Pro is also requiredMust be able to self-manage and prioritise own workloadHave excellent written and oral communication skillsConfidence to manage the team and be a good team playerAbility to use own initiativeMust be able to work well under pressureA professional attitude, demonstrate great initiative and excellent organisational skillsMust have awareness of and ability to maintain confidentialityAbout British LandAt British Land we manage, develop and finance a portfolio of high quality properties.
