Salary:£100 - £110 per day

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role supporting a child with global developmental delay? Hays Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Camden to recruit a dedicated and skilled SEN TA to support a Year 6 pupil on a 1:1 basis. This is a full-time position starting immediately, with the potential to continue into the next academic year.

Your new role

You will:

Provide tailored 1:1 support to a Year 6 pupil with global delay
Implement strategies to support communication, social interaction, and learning
Work closely with the SENCO, class teacher, and external professionals
Monitor progress and adapt support plans as needed

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience supporting children with SEN, particularly global developmental delay
Strong understanding of child development and inclusive education
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
