Role: Area Sales Manager

Salary: £37,000 - £43,000 + Quarterly Commission + Electric Company Car and EV charging point if required

Location: London East & East Anglia - Based from home with daily travel within the region. Applications will only be considered if you are based within this region.

We are seeking an ambitious, field sales-driven Area Sales Manager to join our GB Sales team at Portakabin, covering London East & East Anglia. You will primarily work from home but will travel daily across the region. Your main responsibilities will include maximizing sales of SMB and small modular projects, developing new and existing customer relationships, and promoting our full range of products and services. This target-driven role focuses on order acquisition and sales growth.

Role Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets within the area.
Meet KPIs such as visit and order numbers.
Plan sales coverage to ensure all customers are contacted regularly.
Identify and develop new business opportunities and sectors.
Manage key client relationships to ensure retention and growth.
Collaborate with the Marketing Team using sector and client research.
Maintain up-to-date information on CRM systems.
Respond promptly to customer needs and feedback.

Essential Criteria

Substantial face-to-face B2B sales experience.
Experience in developing and maintaining successful client relationships.
Forward-thinking with a clear vision to succeed.
Strong relationship-based sales skills and product knowledge.
Proven success in meeting sales targets and KPIs.
Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Full UK driving license and ability to travel daily and stay over as needed.
Experience in business development activities.
Ability to cope with pressure and setbacks.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
