Role: Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA)
Start date: Immediate
Contract: Term-time only
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Location: Newham, East London

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who is passionate about supporting young people and gaining hands-on experience in the classroom. You'll work closely with teachers and departments to provide academic and pastoral support, helping students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students across a range of subjects, both in class and in small groups

Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities

Help manage behaviour and encourage positive engagement in learning

Provide targeted support for students who may need extra help

Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Holds a degree (any subject considered)

Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to learn

Has excellent communication and teamwork skills

Enjoys working with young people and inspiring confidence in them

(Experience in a school or tutoring environment is desirable, but not essential)
