Teaching Assistant

Smart Teachers are currently working with a Primary School based in Kensington and Chelsea who are looking for part-time Teaching Assistants to work with them from January 2026.
About the role
The role will be ongoing - starting in January and will last till the end of the academic year, with a potential to move on to the next academic year.
You will have to work and support the Class Teacher in a KS1 year group.
You will also be required to support SEN pupils in a mainstream classroom setting.

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
Experience working with children Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to support both teachers and pupils Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
Experience working with Primary School pupils
Key responsibilities
As Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:
Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and supporting pupils’ understanding Support children’s emotional and social development, helping to build confidence and independence. Follow school safeguarding, health and safety, and behavior policies at all times.
