If you’re ready to advance your expertise and grow with a firm that values excellence, we’d love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesAccountable for running an individual caseloadProvide support, guidance and assistance to the team to deliver outstanding service to clientsContribute to proactive and commercial case management and progression across the teamSupport the Team Leader/Head of Department in ensuring the delivery of the team’s financial and performance KPIsEffective and thorough time recordingDiscuss and agree case tactics and planning with the Team Leader/Head of Department and team membersIdentify and drive cases ready for LOC, settlement, and service within the teamWork with the team to ensure relevant information is collected and collated to enable case progressionManage a caseload in a proactive commercial mannerCoordinate the progression of cases with all internal and external partiesDraft legal documentation including LOC, letters of instructionNegotiate settlements and issue/service of proceedings as requiredLitigation of claims as requiredOversee documentation and correspondence produced by the teamAdvise the team on technical issues arising from their cases with support from the Team Leader/Head of DepartmentRequirements / Ideal CandidateRecent experience handling a caseloadNQ-5 years PQE or equivalent experience in Clinical NegligenceExcellent organisational and time management skillsExcellent communication and drafting skillsExcellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Proclaim and ExcelExcellent attention to detailStrong commercial awareness within a legal environmentAbility to work well with junior team members, providing coaching and mentoringFlexible and willing to commit to achieving results and meeting deadlinesExcellent client care skillsBenefits35 hour working weekBonus scheme (subject to targets)35 days holiday per year including bank holidays and Christmas closure; option to purchase up to 3 extra days per year (subject to long service terms)Pension scheme with tax-efficient salary sacrificeLife assurance policyMedicash policy for dental, optical and other medical expensesCompany sick payEnhanced Maternity, Paternity and IVF schemesFlexible, agile working environment with a positive work-life balanceFunded calendar of company social eventsMonthly voucher awards for winning nomineesOngoing training and professional development opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
